Hello, my name is Ofunne Gloria A. I am a female home carer with experience in providing hourly and overnight care. I have extensive experience caring for individuals with various conditions such as being bedbound, anxiety, depression, and respiratory illnesses like COPD and asthma. I also have experience working with individuals with poor or declining mobility.
While I do not have a car or the ability to drive, I am skilled in various caregiving tasks such as bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, and providing companionship. Additionally, I am proficient in cooking and enjoy preparing nutritious meals for those in my care.
Outside of my caregiving duties, I have a range of hobbies that I actively pursue. I enjoy walking, cooking and baking, gardening, socializing, and reading. I believe these activities help me to maintain a balanced and fulfilled lifestyle, which in turn allows me to provide better care to my clients.
In terms of pet preferences, I am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. I believe that pets can provide companionship and emotional support, which can be beneficial for individuals who may be feeling isolated or lonely.
Above all, my motivation for being a caregiver comes from my desire to help people lead independent lives. I find it incredibly fulfilling to support and assist individuals in maintaining their dignity and autonomy, no matter their circumstances. My caring nature, friendly disposition, and helpful attitude are some of the attributes I bring to every client I work with.
